The MSIS program offers its courses to maximize the offerings to students while balancing the availability of the faculty.

Most core classes are offered twice annually with electives offered once every year or two. We strongly advise students to take IS 8040 along with IS 8005 in their first semester, since these courses are prerequisites to other courses in the curriculum. We also advise students to take elective courses as soon as they are offered, since they may not be scheduled again for a year or more.
